Roxborough Church's Roxy After-School Program provides a low-cost, safe, and educational after-school program for children grades K-6. The program provides a place where students can learn teamwork, leadership, service, accountability, and faith in God.
Students are picked up each day at 3PM from Shawmont Elementary, Roxborough Christian, and Green Woods Charter Schools and are taken back to Roxborough Church.
During Roxy After-School, students are provided free time activities, snacks, homework help, recreational games, Bible lessons, and different monthly electives or workshops (Basketball, Arts & Crafts, Acting, Music, and much more!)
Our fantastic Roxy After-School staff is dedicated to seeing each student grow academically, emotionally, relationally, and spiritually. Roxy After-School also partners with local colleges and universities to bring in volunteers who provide extra assistance during homework time.
Roxborough Church's Roxy After-School Program is proud to be an equal opportunity care provider and employer.
We strive to create a partnership with families at our after-school program. We do this in a number of ways. Our program is dedicated to communication with parents of our students. We send out weekly updates and newsletters to keep parents informed. Our program also hosts a number of events throughout the year for the whole family to participate in. We value the families of our after-school program and recognize the importance of partnering together with parents to provide the best environment for our students.
